The staff were friendly and attentive but not intrusive. The sommelier was knowledgeable and entertaining. We loved the concept of a list of seasonal ingredients replacing a traditional menu, so that we knew what each dish would be based on but not how it would be presented.

My only (slightly) negative comment is that we were seated at the back of the restaurant at a table where I faced a blank wall. The door to the kitchen was to my left and another wall was to my right. Not exactly inspiring and not a great place from which to gauge the atmosphere of the restaurant.
But overall, an outstanding and very memorable meal.
Excellent set menu for Second Christmas Day evening meal (AKA "Boxing Day" in the UK). Altogether a very enjoyable evening. Every course was a new taste experience. Excellent service, pleasant friendly staff adding to the whole event. Booked online from the UK via Dining City and booking later confirmed by the restaurant.

We hebben zeer goed gegeten. Het eten was van een uitmuntende kwaliteit, goede smaken. De sfeer was erg gezellig en de bediening was optimaal. Echt een aanrader en voor herhaling vatbaar!
Perhaps the finest restaurant in Amsterdam, worthy of two Michelin stars instead of one. A much better dining experience than La Rive,the other Michelin-star establishment in the area. Food preparation is imaginative and the sauces complement, rather than submerge, the qualities of the main ingredients. Atmosphere in the restaurant transcends the neighboring hotel environment.
Vrijdag 20 juli genoten van de all-inclusive deal. Het dessert in de keuken aan de chef's tafel was een waardig slot van de avond. Fijne vakantie !!
